Bahrain to host the largest air show in its history this November
About 95 per cent of space for Bahrain International Airshow 2018 has been already booked, said Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed. “Now the cost of the event is zero as the space rents would cover all expenses,” he said.
The minister stressed that hosting the airshow in the past years have contributed positively to enhancing the growth of the national economy. “The airshow boosts spending in many forms, be it hotel reservations, restaurants, retail businesses apart from the mainstream revenues,” he added. The airshow will be held from November 14 to 16 at Sakhir Air Base and will witness the presence of latest civil and military aircraft vehicles. Special programmes will be organised for children, adults and families on the sidelines of the event.
