I’m strictly observing fast, says Al Selwady
Manama : Abdul Kareem Al Selwady had announced that he is strictly observing fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan regardless of the upcoming bout.
Al Selwady is one among the top fighters in the Middle East with just a win away from matching the current record of 5 wins at Brave Combat Federation by Jarrah Al Selawe.
Abdul Kareem Al Selwady will become the youngest Arab Fighter to compete in Europe at Brave Combat Federation when he will face Erik Carlsson from Sweden at the Lightweight division.
“I have maintained peak strength and fitness as I entered the Holy month of Ramadan. So all that I require is to keep training and focus to compet. I am sure that I will be celebrating this Eid as a winner,” said Al Selwady.
Al Selwady is currently training in Fortis MMA in Dallas, Texas under veteran coach Husam Mubarak Al Selwady.
Mohammad Fakhreddine have also joined the fight camp alongside Al Selwady at Fortis MMA and will fight in Brave 13 hosted on 9th June at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
