Dr Khalid, Al-Salehi crown winners
Manama : The Palm Speed Stakes Competition, held within the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Britain, has concluded. Winning the event was Robert Smith, clocking 54.01 seconds, while Emanuele Gaudiano came in second with 54.48 seconds and Oliver Robert third at 55.56 seconds.
At the end of the competition, Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Director of Bahrain Royal Endurance Team and Tawfiq Al-Salehi, Director of the Media Office and Information Center of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa crowned the winners of the competition, which received wide participation by various riders, characterised by its strength and high levels to winning leading positions.
Dr Khalid commented, “The Royal Windsor Horse Show is one of the most significant shows in the world, widely regarded by various countries as one of the oldest international horse shows. It was a real opportunity to highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain’s name in this great sports forum, shedding light on the cultural achievements of the Kingdom in all fields during the flourishing era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country.”
