Culinary Arts and Hospitality Entrepreneur Awards on way

Manama Chaine des Rotisseurs Chairman, Khalid Almoayed yesterday announced the launch of “Culinary Arts & Hospitality Entrepreneur Awards” which will take place in the Kingdom in December 2018. 

The award is inspired by the world famous “Jeunes Chefs Rotisseurs Competition” hosted by Chaine des Roitsseurs International since 1977. 

Awards categories are ‘The Young Chef of The Year’, ‘Sommelier of The Year’, ‘The Mixologist of The Year’, and ‘The Foodie Entrepreneur of The Year’. Several additional award categories are also announced to celebrate culinary arts and encourage young Bahrainis to showcase and develop their talents.

The announcement was made during a reception held for leading Hospitality figures at the Crown Plaza hotel yesterday along with board members. 

“Bahrainis are known the world over for their legendary hospitality and our culture is liberally peppered with delicious dishes, with family recipes and traditions being passed down through the generations,” said Khalid Almoayed adding, “We want to ensure this rich heritage is not lost.”

All establishments in the hospitality industry ranging from hotels, restaurants, cafes, food and beverage suppliers, to Bahraini producers of foodstuffs, cake and pastry designers, mixologists, baristas, and organic and healthy foodstuffs are invited to participate in the award.
