Bahraini man falls to death in Sri Lanka
Manama : A Bahraini man fell to death near a waterfall in Sri Lanka while on a tourist trip.
According to Sri Lankan press, the Bahraini national died after falling near the Sandun Ella waterfall in Kitulgala Town in the western parts of the island.
Hiru News reported that the man slipped and fell, adding that “he was admitted to Thaligama Hospital where he succumbed to injuries”.
Sources confirmed to DT News that the man has been identified as Abdulzahraa Abdulhussain, 40. They informed that he is from Mahooz village in the Capital Governorate and that he was on a tourist trip to Sri Lanka along with relatives.
The deceased’s body was repatriated to Bahrain, in coordination with the Bahraini Embassy in India, and his body was buried yesterday at Shaikh Sulaiman Al Mahoozy Graveyard in his hometown Mahooz.
