Centre Point on the verge of completion

ManamaThe much-anticipated completion of Centre Point, a landmark building in London’s West End, is scheduled for this summer.

This was announced by UK Property Advisor, Nadia Shaheen during a ladies lunch hosted in collaboration with global real estate company, CBRE and UK property developers Almacanter.

The lunch, attended by guest of honour Sophie Martin, the Wife of the British Ambassador to Bahrain, took place at Masso restaurant at The Palace Boutique Hotel in Adliya.

Almacantar, a London property development company, has been transforming the historic building, which is protected by Historic England thanks to its architectural innovation. The transformation, according to the company, will result in a limited collection of beautiful apartments in the tallest residential tower in London’s West End.

In addition to amenities such as a spa, gym, a 30-metre swimming pool, screening and meetings rooms, there will also be a 24-hour concierge team at Centre Point. Bespoke art installations have been commissioned by renowned artists Cerith Wynn Evans and Richard Wentworth.

Centre Point is located in the cultural heart of London.

The West End is home to 30 museums, public and private galleries, 40 theatres including the Royal Opera House and Europe’s most famous shopping districts. The location will be further enhanced by the arrival of the Elizabeth line via Crossrail, the high- speed railway that will provide Centre Point with direct access to Heathrow airport in 30 minutes and the City in 5 minutes from 2018.

The development will also include a new pedestrianised square, comparable in size to Trafalgar Square, and new restaurants and shops.

Tracy Hughes, Residential Sales Director commented: “The apartments at Centre Point are a celebration of everything that makes London a world-class city. It is unmatched in terms of design, location and specification. When we open Centre Point this year it will be a distinguished residential address and a new destination in London’s exceptional West End. ”
