Small boats to have trackers
Manama : In a move to step up safety, all small boats in the Kingdom will soon have devices which send information about the boat; the identification of its owner, its location, route, and speed, directly to the Naval operations centre. Minister of Interior Lt General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa issued a statement calling on all small boats, to have “wireless transmitting and receiving devices owned by the Ministry of Interior”.
