Brave 2 fighters prepare for official weigh-ins

ManamaThe thrill of a major, global event and the build-up and pre-match excitement is about to reach its peak today as the pre-fight hype and tension between fighters and for Brave 2: Dynasty ahead of the official weigh-ins.

All 20 fighters, representing 16 nations, will gather at Orange Suites in Juffair for the weigh-ins for this seminal event before they go head-to-head with their foes and stare into each-other’s souls.

Representing Bahrain is Hamza Kooheji who faces off against his Filipino adversary Jeremy Pacatiw with big support from the Philippine community guaranteed as they turned out in mass for the inaugural Brave 1 show.

Also from the Philippines is Troy Bantiag who takes on Indian MMA Gurdarshan Mangat with both sets of expat communities set to cheer on their countryman.

There is no bad blood between the two men in Friday’s main event, but you can guarantee Dagestan’s Gadzhimusa Gaziev and England’s Carl Booth will be staring into each-other’s eyes with a fierce intensity and bad intentions.

They are powerful athletes who love nothing more than removing another man from their consciousness, should they be standing across the cage in front of them.

They will both be looking for a knockout win, and the face-to-face showdown today should be electric.

This face-off is a defining moment and often has hilarious results, where the tension boils over into hysteria and chaos.
