Court adjourned riot case

ManamaThe High Criminal Court has adjourned the trial of four Bahraini men suspected of rioting until September 9. The case was adjourned to hear the testimony of the first witness. 

The defendants have reportedly participated in a riot erupted in the area of North Sehla. Several mobsters are said to have set tyres on fire in order to hinder the road traffic in the locality.

The police have confirmed the involvement of the defendants after conducting thorough investigations into the case. 

The Public Prosecution charged the defendants with rioting, participating in an illegal gathering and disturbing public order.
