A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday between the Council of Representatives and Ministry of Information Affairs for constitutional cooperation between the legislative and executive branches to achieve active partnership.
The MoU came in line with the future vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and principles of the reform project. The MoU was signed by Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives Abdullah bin Khalaf Al Dossari and Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Acting Director General Mohannad Sulaiman Al Nuaimi in the presence of the Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla and the Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi.
MP Mohammed Al Maarfi, MP Jamal Dawood, Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs and Human Resources Yasser Al Shirawi, Bahrain TV Director Yusuf Mohammed, News Centre Director Abdulla Khalid and Bahrain Radio Director Younis Salman were present.
Under the MoU, the two sides will coordinate the preparation of a number of TV and radio programmes and projects related to the Council of Representative’s work, broadcast the council’s sessions and meetings and secretariat general’s activities.
