Foreign minister attends seminar on Prince Saud

Riyadh : Minister Foreign of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, yesterday expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for bestowing King Abdulaziz Medal - First Class - on late Prince Saud Al Faisal in recognition of his efforts.

This came during his participation at the Prince Saud Al-Faisal seminar held yesterday in Riyadh as part of the 32nd session of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“Prince Saud Al-Faisal’s stances were crystal clear everywhere in the Arab and Islamic world and even clearer to Bahrain which he has defended with all his strength at various forums and never spared a single effort to ensure its security and stability, embodying through his authentic Arab positions, the brotherly ties of brotherhood and common destiny of the two brotherly countries and peoples throughout history,” said Shaikh Khalid in his keynote speech.

He noted that the noble honouring of His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al Faisal testifies anew to the fact that history never forgets men’s great contributions, renowned stances or tremendous sacrifices towards their nations.

The event was also attended by Prince Turki Al Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, and Journalist Writer Dr Abdel-Monaem Said from Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper.
