Ministry awarded ISO 9001
Manama : The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism yesterday announced obtaining Quality Management System (QMS) Certificate ISO 9001 after successfully passing the external audit conducted by Bureau Veritas Company from January 28 to 30.
“This achievement reflects the Ministry’s keenness to achieve high efficiency and high service,” Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs Nader Al Moayed said.
The Ministry, Al Moayed said, has worked over the past two years to train its team on the new requirements in operations and documentation required. The ministry received its first certificate in 2002.
