Fugitive Musa Abdali facing legal action in London

ManamaSeveral human rights activists and members of the Iranian opposition seeking asylum in London are initiating legal action against ex-Bahraini citizen Musa Abdali for conspiring with the Iranian regime against them and their families. Abdali is wanted for terror related crimes in Bahrain.

This matter surfaced when Human Rights Activist Shahnaz Tahreen said she and a group of other activists will lodge complaints to the British authorities against Musa Abdali, who escaped Bahrain a few years ago after being condemned for being involved in several terror crimes.

Abdali, who’s a photographer for malicious news channels, backed by the Iranian regime and armed terrorist militias such as Hezbollah, has been harassing Iranian opposition members and human rights activists in London for the past few years.

Reports issued by human rights organisations, especially Iranian, mentioned that he has been coordinating with the Iranian intelligence to track down family members of activists and opposition members to apply pressure on them.

His involvement included torturing relatives of activists in Iran by providing information to the authorities there, as well as spying on the opposition members and activists seeking asylum in the UK and other European countries.

Tahreen demanded the United Nations Human Rights Council and the UN Secretary General to ban Abdali from attending human rights assemblies and meetings, and to initiate an immediate investigation with him for his involvement in spying activities for the Iranian regime.

Abdali, who got his citizenship revoked by a court order, has been living in London since then and was involved in attacks on Bahrain and GCC in London, including an attempt to attack the procession of His Majesty the King during his visit to London last May.

He was also involved in several attacks on the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London.
