Ahmed Amir signs for Brave 9

Manama : Brave Combat Federation had signed top Egyptian welterweight fighter, Ahmed Amir for the ninth edition of the Brave Combat Federation. Brave 9 is announced to take place at Khalifa Sports City at Isa Town on 17 November. Ahmed Amir is one of the key figures of Mixed Martial Arts in the Arab world. The Egyptian fighter with a six win streak is currently training from Kuwait.

“MMA in Middle East has come a long way in such a short time due to the systematic and developmental approach undertaken by Brave Combat Federation implementing the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. I intend to represent the Arab world in the biggest combat sports platform available to the athletes in Middle East. This motivates me and I am all set for the fight night at Brave International Combat Week”, said Ahmed Amir.  

The international athlete had risen to fame after shocking the MMA world by defeating the Jiu Jitsu expert from the United States of America - Richie Martinez, after reversing submission attempts thrice. In the fourth edition of Brave, Ahmed Amir had victory by technical submission over Kevin Kobdolsky who trains under the coach of Conor McGregor at Straight Blast Gym, Ireland.
